ACCESSIBLE BEDROOM
The Accessible bedroom is situated to the front of the house with dual aspect windows. A large bay includes a built in window bed / seat with sea views giving light and character to the room.
The large room gives a spacious layout and turning circle for large wheelchairs, and all additional equipment needed.
The oak beamed ceiling and feature industrial style lighting offsets the beams of the H ceiling track system that covers the entire room . The Guldmann GH 3 ceiling hoist, installed , serviced and Loler inspected by Multicare Medical, makes lifting , and moving procedures safe, simple and comfortable for user and those providing support.
The GH 3 module charges itself through the rails, irrespective of where on in the system it is positioned.
A mobile Birdie folding electric hoist is available to use as required in other area’s of the house and garden.
A large colourful mural provides a feature wall which allows the trunking containing multiple electrical sockets to each bed to blend into the furnishings.
Two Opera Classic height adjustable profiling beds with Trendelenburg function (tilt) sit along the main wall with height appropriate furniture for equipment that may be needed.
Available for each bed is a Opera ultra profiling mattress, designed for users with a high risk of developing a pressure sore.
Also available for each bed is a Tamora Plus II Digital dynamic mattresses - alternating cell air mattress for very high risk guests.
A single bed gives a place for a carer / parent to sleep / rest if care and support overnight is needed.
Dual Hikvision video monitoring system is in place, with each bed having its own camera to give peace of mind while away in other areas of the house.
ACCESSIBLE BATHROOM
Wet room style bathroom

A large (20 sqm) fully tiled bathroom gives a pleasurable and relaxing experience for Carers and Guests. A Guldman Combilock connects the bedroom H ceiling track hoist to the bathroom's H ceiling track to provide seamless transfers between bed and bath.
A freestanding Astor Bannerman Avero Comfort bath is sculpted to give maximum internal room allowing extra movement and comfort and has bariatric capacity. The tub is double thickness for added insulation. Thermostatic valves, shower attachment and air spa system have been added to enhance the bathing experience.

A Schuchmann Basti bath chair gives a lying surface that is adjustable to the individual and provide a secure and comfortable position. The shower stand converts it into a shower lying aid.

An open shower area provides maximum accessibility, with a wall mounted shower hose and an additional ceiling mounted waterfall shower head.

Also available is a TR equipment 3200 height adjustable multi tasking battery operated shower trolley. Foldable side rails allow for efficient and safe guest transfer. The stretcher can easily be tilted to the Trendelenburg position.

The Gereberit Aquaclean shower toilet is equipped with whirl spray shower technology with an intuitive remote control. It gives a personal hygiene experience paying particular attention to intimate areas. Additional functions include a lady shower, an odour extraction unit and a warm air dryer.
